Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and technical support of Anitox’s products and nutritional/live production programs around the world.

Key Accountabilites:

  • Act as the global technical expert for nutrition and live production (including regulatory and intellectual property functions)
  • Work with CRO/CMO to set sector/segment targeting for sales and marketing campaigns
  • Assess competitor claims and positions as it relates to product/animal performance
  • Work with sales teams, oversee and direct customer trials to drive increased revenue and share gain
  • Own management and disposition of Technical Target Accounts to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work with representative bodies and influencers on Salmonella & Campylobacter heat mapping, focusing on feed as a fomite
  • Represent Anitox in technical forums and speaker platforms as it relates to livestock production efficiency and feed safety linked to microbial quality of feed and feed ingredients
  • Work peer-to-peer with major customers to evaluate ROI for feed sanitization
  • Provide training and sales resources to support microbial feed quality

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years proven experience in a commercial leadership role within the poultry & or swine industry in respect of interventions in live production for the promotion of gut health, performance and/or food safety
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
  • Highly developed people leadership skills
  • Sense of urgency & track record of achieving objectives on time
  • Experience and understanding of the challenges facing the broiler and swine integrators with regard to feed-related pathogens on performance through genetics, hatcheries, live production and processing
  • Ability to deliver technical/scientific information in a clear and logical way
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven experience of delivering presentations at technical forums and speaker platforms
  • Working knowledge of feed & feed ingredients, quality assurance & state & federal registrations
  • Travel up to 60% in support of customer and industry activity

Preferred:

  • PhD in Agricultural Science, with experience in microbiology
  • NVAP qualified
  • USDA registered (to sign off on International Health certificates)

Hours of Work:   
Working hours are standard Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and will be modified to meet the expectations of sales goals (customer hours, after-hours work as required).
