Anitox partners with the world’s leading food producers to develop and deliver innovative programs to efficiently produce safer food.   Our engineers, scientists, feed safety and milling efficiency specialists help keep pathogens and viruses such as salmonella, e.coli, avian influenza and killer swine viruses such as ASF and PEDv out of the food chain.   With your help we can do more to ensure chicken, eggs, pork and pet foods are safe and affordable for all.  

We’re looking for a prolific Content Creator to work with our technical team and external contributors to create material for blogs, articles, product descriptions, sales support and marketing materials, social media, and the company website.

You’ll collaborate closely with our front line to identify the subject matter and types of content needed to achieve sales and marketing goals.  Then you’ll join forces with our digital marketing manager to drive the Anitox marketing engine, planning, securing support, preparing content and seeing projects through to execution, and then continuously evaluating their performance and adjusting accordingly.


  • Driving a high-output program of quality sales and marketing content to feed the company’s ambitious marketing outreach program.
  • Designing and implementing collateral evaluation and intervention programs to continually improve the value of the company’s content library.
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Interviewing colleagues, industry influencers, academics, customers and potential customers to prepare testimonials, case studies and collaborative works to drive awareness and intervention on feed as a fomite for food chain and performance limiting pathogens.
  • Developing content for blogs, white papers, articles, product descriptions, sales and marketing materials, technical bulletins, social media, and the company website.
  • Assist the marketing team in developing content for lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
  • Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

The position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. The market landscape within food and pet food production is complex, rapidly evolving and highly competitive. You will be part of a high performing sales and marketing operation tasked with business model transformation and acceleration of our success.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Ability to listen thoughtfully and respond accurately, both in print and verbally

Ability to think outside of the box to develop and execute strategies to gain market share

Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

Must be an enthusiastic go-getter that is a positive influence on workplace culture

Proven ability to work within and influence teams to the completion of common goals in an ambiguous and fast paced environment


  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
  • Experience (3+ years) in content writing or copywriting experience in a technical sales environment
  • Working knowledge of content and marketing management systems (Anitox uses Hubspot and ShowPad)
  • A portfolio of published articles.
  • Experience identifying content opportunities and matching those opportunities with high value and shareable assets.
  • Innovative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to multitask, with a do-what-it-takes attitude, and out of the box approach.


  • Experience in a relevant livestock production, nutrition or health related field
  • Experience with HubSpot, BigCommerce, and Salesforce
